As a wedding photographer, it can be challenging to get in front of the camera, but when a friend in the industry, Morgan with Morgan Lee Photography reached out to me to capture portraits of her and her partner, Matt, I was beyond excited to document portraits of them.
While planning this photoshoot, I asked Morgan about her dream session, and how she would describe it visually. She mentioned that she was interested in a classic, urban location and we both thought that Downtown Kansas City, specifically Union Station and the National WWI Museum and Memorial would be the perfect spot to capture their love for one another.

These historical landmarks, with their timelessness and architectural charm, painted the perfect backdrop for their portraits. With the Liberty Memorial Tower in the background we began their session in a classic white satin dress with a bow and puffed sleeves, heels with pearls a black suit. Morgan and Matt crafted timeless looks that will last the test of time.

Halfway through the session, we moved to Liberty Memorial Tower which overlooks Downtown, Kansas City. Throughout the photography session, Morgan and Matt shared smiles, quiet intimacy and stolen glances adding to the narrative to their imagery and emotion of their memories.
In Conclusion
As the sun began to set, Morgan and Matt reflected on their portrait session while admiring the Downtown Kansas City skyline.
